
Description
Pere Callahan, Jake Chambers and Oy entered the Dixie Pig in New York, and Callahan dies while Jake and Oy escape below. Mordred Deschain, son of Roland was born in Fedic, and Susannah escaped and wounded Mordred soon after the birth. Jake and Oy found Susannah on the far side of a portal/Door and escaped their pursuers.Stephen King meets Roland and Eddie Dean, telling him their tale and then they travel to Fedic; and the ka-tet is reunited. Randall Flagg, also known as Walter o'Dim intends to kill Mordred, but is killed and eaten by the growing creature. Eddie Dean is mortally wounded and died shortly the attack on Algul Siento.
Stephen King is saved by Roland, Jake and Oy, but only when Jake Chambers threw himself between King and the van, dying in the process, and Roland buried the boy in the nearby woods. Roland arrives in New York, seeing the Tet Corporation's office at 2 Hammarskjöld Plaza, and speaks to many of the employees.
They continue onto the tower when they meet Patrick. He later drew an Unfound Door through which Susannah travelled to an alternate reality New York, where she meets Eddie Toren and his brother Jake, who had also been dreaming of her and, as her memories rapidly faded, they headed home together.
Close to the tower Oy is killed, but saves Roland's life in the process, and causing the death of Mordred.
Roland defeats the Crimson king, then enters the tower, climbing through rooms depicting his life. When he exits into the top room, only to find himself back in the Mohaine Desert, ready to to resume his quest to the dark tower, but this time he has Arthur Eld's ancient brass horn on his belt.
