Description
Edgar Freemantle has an accident at work and loses an arm. His wife can not accept the changed man he has become and leaves him during his recovery. He moved away and then decides to go to quiet Duma Key for his recovery. There he begins to see and hear things, and discusses them with his new friend Wireman up the beach. They slowly uncover more of Duma Key's mysterious past.A strange history involving murder, coverups, and the deaths of children are intricately woven into an excellent tale by Stephen King
